7 reasons Why You Need to Have Carvel’s New Slime Shake

Spooky Season is here and so are the new treats. Carvel’s collaborated with Freeform 31 Nights of Halloween to create the Slime Shake. And today I tried it.

Slime Shake in all of its glory

While scrolling through my instagram feed looking at burgers with onion rings on it, chocolate chip cookies and crispy calamari; this green shake caught my eye. A green milkshake with slime for Halloween. Well it’s time to make my way to Carvel. But as I was on the Carvel website it said the the Slime Shake was not available at my closet Carvel which is the Carvel in Macys. That didn’t stop me from going up 7 slow going escalators and getting lost in kids section of the largest Macys just to see if they did or didn’t have the Slime Shake. Worst Case Scenario they didn’t have it and I would just get their limited time Kit-Kat shake. As I walked to the Cravel area there was a small poster advertising the Slime Shake and I jumped a little bit to try this shake.

The Slime Shake is a cookies and cream shake. It is blended with Carvel’s classic vanilla ice cream, Oreos, edible slime and topped with whipped cream.  There are many reasons but here are my top 7 reasons why you need this to have this shake 

1. The green slime color makes you feel like you’re drinking a mysterious drink. People will wonder what’s in it. They may be a tad bit envious.  This mystery of the drink will definitely get you ready for the Halloween season

2.It’s so velvety and creamy. There is no need to use all your  mouth muscles to suck on the straw to get some milkshake. It just flows up without any effort.

3.There are little pieces of Oreo that comes up the straw giving you nice little flavor bombs while drinking it. And these Oreo is the cookie and cream. Every time I got an Oreo I smiled a lil bit.

4.It has edible slime in it. The woman put the in the slime did it like how a Starbucks barista would drizzle the caramel in a caramel frappuccino. And it’s even topped with whipped cream like a caramel frappuccino. ( The Slime Shake > caramel frappuccino )

5.When you’re done you can scoop of extra bits of Oreos at the bottom of the cup. If you’re lazy like me just use your straw to scoop it up.

6.It makes your day much better. I had this on a rainy day in NYC and I walked down the crowded sidewalks with a little pep in my step cause I had my Slime Shake.

7. It’s only here for the 31 days of October. So get it before it runs out.
